HIV Community and Mental Health Support
Living with HIV can be emotionally challenging, and support is an important part of overall health and well-being. Speaking with someone you trust can help you navigate this time. Your primary health care provider or case manager can connect you with counselors, social workers, mental health professionals, or peer support from others living with HIV.
Depression and other mental health challenges can affect quality of life and may make it harder to stay engaged in HIV care and treatment. Accessing mental health services and support groups can provide encouragement, reduce isolation, and support long-term health. Find mental health and support groups in your area here: 211 Big Bend
